The Worship Ministry at Mt Olive

More Than Music

Worship Choir
 

The Worship Choir at Mt Olive allows individuals 18 and older a place to use their talents and gifts to worship and lead others in worship of our Savior Jesus Christ. The musical style of the choir focuses on upbeat Southern Gospel and upbeat worship. Throughout the year musicals are used to emphasize Holidays and special events.

Rehearsals are held on Sunday Nights at 4:45PM from September - May and Wednesday Nights at 8:00PM during the Summer months. 

 
 
Praise Team
 
Since the Old Testament, many different instruments have been used in worship. The Praise Team at Mt Olive consists of vocalists, guitars, keyboards and a drum machine. This group uses Contemporary and Praise and Worship styles of music to lead in the Worship Services at Mt Olive. 
 
 
Youth
The Mt. Olive Baptist Church youth participate in various worship experiences in regard to music.  The youth meet Wednesday evenings at 6:15 to practice praise and worship songs.  The take an active part in the worships services on a monthly basis.  This ministry area is open to students who are in grades seven through twelve.
 
Sound Ministry

Media Ministry
 
We now have our Sunday Morning Services available on the Internet. Just go to the church’s web site and click on the link. There is also an archive of past messages from different staff members. Check out this feature. 
 
If you know of a shut-in or someone who would like to receive a copy of the Sunday Morning Service, let us know and we will be glad to give you a copy to get to them. Each CD contains the full service from Sunday Morning. They will hear all of the music, prayers and sermon to listen to just as if they were here.
