We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Stan has held the positions of pastor, associate pastor, worship pastor and youth minister throughout his 35 years of ministry. His health has limited him in the past few years and he how uses his gifts as God allows as a volunteer.
Paula Whitfield
Music Director
Paula was raised in the Shoals community of Pinnacle NC. She started playing piano for Shoals Baptist church at the age of 13. and continued playing until she went to college. A graduate of Mars Hill College with a bachelors degree in music education. She began her 32 year teaching career in Williamston NC where she met her husband. She was also the music director at the Gold Point Christian Church. After the unexpected death of her husband, Paula decided to move back home where she is close to her family. We are excited to have her lead the music program at Mount Olive Baptist Church.
